About Dr. Stone

I am a New York State licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience treating adults in private practice. I have served for 30 years as Director of Psychological Services in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital, where I supervise other psychologists. I will be retiring from this role at the end of July 2026 to focus fully on my private practice.

My approach to therapy is psychodynamic and insight-oriented. When appropriate, I can work in more structured ways with complex trauma and PTSD. I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD.
